Areas Of Specialty

It is my belief that all conditions can be treated. Whether the goal is cure, palliation of symptoms, or an overall improvement in sense of well-being, all people can benefit from creating balance in their lives. In an effort to treat the underlying cause rather than simply address the symptoms, I have furthered studies in a specialized system of advanced cellular detoxification known as Biotherapeutic Drainage. This system developed in Europe is aimed at facilitating the body's routes of elimination and regenerating health at a cellular level. This in conjunction with my education and advanced training in endocrinology has allowed me to successfully treat a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions.

Dr Tammi Price

Dr. Tammi Price studied medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine where she received both a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Price strongly believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal. She uses a wide range of natural remedies and therapies, including acupuncture, botanicals, homeopathy, and various somatic emotional release techniques aimed at stimulating and supporting patients’ abilities to heal themselves.

A dedicated yoga student for over 21 years, Dr. Price completed her teacher training in Thailand in Wisdom Yoga, a hatha yoga and meditation-based practice. Additionally, she trained in China as a practitioner and instructor of Qi Gong, a healing martial art. With the belief that we are more than our physical bodies, Dr. Price incorporates yoga philosophy and Qi Gong teachings into her healing practice as a means to engender the whole person, encouraging patients to explore their own sense of creativity, spirituality and harmony. “To me there is no greater joy than helping people improve their lives by increasing vitality, clarity, and a general sense of peace.”

Dr. Tammi founded Sacred Traditions in 2003 after moving her practice from Portland Oregon to the Hudson Valley. In 2009 she joined forces with her husband Steeven Price Lall  an Arawak Bone Setter. The duality of this yin/yang pair works to alchemically facilitate transformation. Together they create a nurturing, magical environment where all things are possible.

Physician's Oath

I promise to follow the way of the great physician.

I will serve to live in harmony with nature, and teach my patients to do the same.

I will stay calm and completely committed when treating disease.

I will not give way to personal wishes and desires, but above all else hold and nurture a deep feeling of compassion.

I will be devoted to the task of saving the sacred spark of life in every creature that still carries it.

I will strive to maintain a clear mind and be willing to hold myself to the highest standards.  It will be my duty to diagnose sufferings and treat disease.

I will not be boastful about my skills and not driven for the greed for material things. Above all I will keep an open heart.

As I move on the right path I will receive great happiness as a reward without asking for anything in return.
