About Steeven

Steeven started his training as a body worker with his grandfather at the age of 10. After his passing, eventually he traveled to Hokkaido, Japan to study with a deep tissue therapist. From there Steeven traveled to Brazil and traversed the northern parts of South America into Central America northward to Mexico. Integrating experience as a Postpartum Doula and Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Steeven utilizes therapies such as cranial sacral and organ placement modalities as additional layers to his practice as a Bone Setter.

Cognitive Muscular Re-integration is a therapeutic practice that looks at the many layers of anatomy in order to re-pattern antalgic or constrictive movements. An important part of this is educating the person and acquainting them with new methods of positive synergistic impression.

He sees clients at his satellite offices located in NYC and Hudson NY by special appointment.

Arawak Bone Setting

An indigenous shamanic practice that focuses on the placement and shape of bones, organs and tissues. This practice is passed  generationally from father to son in the indigenous Arawak and Carib tribes of which Steeven is a descendant. In the Arawak tradition a child begins training at adolescence with a family member. This is the way it has been preserved and passed down for hundreds of years. Bone Setting is a deep tissue therapy focusing on changing patterns of movement throughout the body to bring a person back to a more neutral state. There are few practitioners left who carry on the traditional ways of Bone Setting. Many tribal cultures throughout the world have held practices similar to modern day therapeutics like Chiropractic, Osteopathic, and Rolfing.
